Last week, the Heart Institute @heart_institute_kyiv, the flagship of Ukrainian cardiology and cardiac surgery, received much needed medical equipment from EmbraceMe foundation. Items include lifesaving equipment and furniture, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, transportation beds and medical cabinets. On behalf of EmbraceMe Foundation, we would like to thank Treviglio Caravaggio Hospital and a team of volunteers in Italy who assisted with this donation. A huge thank you to our volunteers in Ukraine who took care of the aid and delivered it safely. Her mother, Iryna, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. An hour before the missile attack, Iryna published an Instagram story of her and her daughter walking to the therapist. After the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported the tragedy, the friends of the family recognized Iryna and Lisa by their clothes and stroller. An Impossible Situation

On 24th February 2022, life of every Ukrainian at home and abroad was changed forever. Millions of families and children have been forced to flee, leaving everything they had behind to seek refuge in neighbouring countries across Europe.

Schools, hospitals, businesses and entire cities have been destroyed. Access to food, medicine and shelter is limited to a number of towns and cities in Ukraine where fighting is still intense.

Our Mission

Established in late 2016, EmbraceMe Foundation was setup to import high grade equipment for use in the educational and pharmaceutical sectors in Ukraine.

Today, our mission has shifted to prioritise relief operations on Ukrainian soil. We work closely with a dedicated team of volunteers in Ukraine and UK who help us coordinate urgent humanitarian assistance. Today it is ambulances, medical equipment and other meds wounded are urgently in need to improve their recovery and survival.

EmbraceMe Foundation delivered over 200 ambulances and other cars to Ukrainian hospitals and paramedics. Our ambulances are being transported fully stocked with medicine and various medical equipment items.

What we do

All emergency aid is targeted at specific areas identified by our network of volunteers on the ground. We are in close contact with schools and hospitals across Ukraine enabling us to respond quickly and effectively.

IMMEDIATE and Medium-term PROGRAMME

Supply of food, clothes and medicine to heavily affected areas.
Purchase and transportation of ambulances and other vehicles from UK to Ukraine’s hospitals and paramedics.

LONG-TERM PROGRAMME

Sector specific reconstruction and development in post-war Ukraine.
Rebuilding Ukraine will be a daunting, but not impossible project. Most Ukrainians dream of a peaceful and democratic society and hope to return to their country as soon as possible. We will concentrate on restoring access to education for Ukrainian children and help rebuild schools destroyed during the war, providing construction materials, classroom equipment and textbooks.
